Alarmingly, evidence suggests that certain Democratic officials may be complicit in funding these chaotic demonstrations while publicly denouncing the violence. It’s high time we hold them accountable for their actions.
Senator Josh Hawley is leading the charge to uncover who is bankrolling these riots. His investigation has zeroed in on the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), an organization linked to the protests and known for donating generously to prominent Democrats like California Governor Gavin Newsom. If that’s not a conflict of interest, I don’t know what is! Kiley’s assertion that CHIRLA has funneled nearly $500,000 into Newsom’s campaign while raking in a whopping $34 million in state funding raises serious questions about the integrity of our elected officials.
Isn’t it interesting how these officials, quick to condemn violence, cozy up to organizations that thrive on chaos? Mayor Karen Bass has publicly condemned vandalism, claiming it undermines the immigrant community. However, one must wonder: how can she distance herself from the very organizations fueling this unrest? It feels like a classic case of saying one thing while doing another—a hallmark of Democratic politics.
While Bass claims to take a stand against violence, her administration’s lack of decisive action raises eyebrows. Setting curfews in downtown Los Angeles is a nice gesture, but it feels more like a band-aid on a wound. These riots aren’t spontaneous acts; they are orchestrated events backed by funding from politicians who now feign outrage.
Don’t forget the role of federal funding in this chaos. Former President Biden’s administration has funneled hundreds of thousands into groups like CHIRLA, which have been implicated in supporting anti-ICE protests. If this isn’t a perfect example of political double-dealing, I don’t know what is.
Democrats seem to play both sides. While they posture as advocates for immigrants, they conveniently overlook the destructive nature of the riots and their impact on the communities they claim to support.
