In a shocking display of mismanagement, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker—more focused on his presidential ambitions than the well-being of his constituents—has signed a bill allowing illegal immigrants to access state-funded educational financial aid. That’s right, while hardworking Illinois families struggle to make ends meet, the governor rolls out the red carpet for those who have broken the law to come here.
Instead of tackling the rampant crime and chaos in the state, Pritzker and his Democratic allies throw taxpayer dollars at illegal immigrants to help them get an education! What a slap in the face to every law-abiding citizen trying to survive in a state drowning in debt and violence.
State Senator Celina Villanueva, one of the bill’s sponsors, claims this law ensures “no student is left behind because of where they were born.” Really? What about the students who were born here, who are lawfully in this country, and who deserve every bit of support without having their resources drained by those who shouldn’t even be here?
It’s absolutely insane that Pritzker, who should be in the gym instead of the governor’s mansion, is making decisions that prioritize illegal immigrants over the safety and welfare of Illinois families. If they want to continue pushing this “woke” agenda, they should prepare for the pushback.
Let’s hope the Trump administration takes notice of this folly. The idea of federal oversight on local police departments is gaining traction, and it’s about time someone steps in to restore order. Why not start by arresting every illegal immigrant taking advantage of this ridiculous law? Enough is enough! Illinois deserves better than this circus of incompetence and irresponsibility.
